So, in the spirit of new years resolutions and trying new things, here it is. A blog for all you ladies and gentlemen out there who, for some reason, would find the musings of a 24 year old single girl's life interesting. I will do my best to fill that void in your literary life that you just can't fill with anything else. So here we go, my new years resolutions:
1. Be less sarcastic. Not sure how long that will last.
2. Exercise more/eat less. Why stray from the classics.
3. Finish a whole book. It's not that I don't read, it's that I have a short attention span. Luckily, my mother gave me a book for Christmas that is sure to be a real page turner entitled Cat Talk: What Your Cat is Trying to Tell You. Thanks mom. I'll be sure to whip it out on the train for all to see.
4. Take more pictures. I already bought a new camera in the hope that somehow, just by upgrading my equipment it will make me more talented. The pictures I took today say otherwise.
5. Enjoy being single more. I'm sure I will elaborate in a later post.
These are just a few. Maybe you can relate to mine. Maybe you have loftier goals. As the new year starts, I encourage you to reflect. Are there changes you would like to make in your life? What goals can you set that you can actually achieve? Will this blog become more interesting the more I write, or should I just quit while I'm ahead? I'm just hoping to at least stick to one of my resolutions. Happy 2011 everyone.
